We define Distribution/Circulation to encompass hard copies printed, the pass-on rate of those hard copies, and copies downloaded by our growing online readership. On average, 25,000 hard copies are printed for each two-week run. Studies have shown each hard copy has a probable "pass-on rate" of 2 to 3, meaning each hard copy taken will be seen by 2 to 3 additional readers. With the pass-on rate alone, distribution/circulation can average anywhere between roughly 35,000 to 65,000. Additionally, our website, www.InLAmagazine.com, receives thousands of unique visitors every month and our records indicate that anywhere between 4,000 and 5,000 electronic Adobe Acrobat copies of IN Los Angeles magazine, cover to cover, are downloaded, and potentially passed on to other readers as well, every month. We believe the distribution/circulation of our magazine is much higher, we have consistently and conservatively estimated our average distribution/circulation to be approximately 35,000. On IN’s website in 2007, readers viewed 2,108,128 pages.
