  Spotlight: Million Dollar Smile

Forget the strips, the messy all-night trays or the hour-long lasering session. All you need is seven minutes to get a megawatt smile.

Your smile can be one of your most important assets. And let’s be honest: No one likes a guy with bad teeth. So for all you smokers, red wine drinkers and latté lovers—or those simply insecure about their smiles—listen up. Hollywood’s Dr. Fardad Fourouzanpour has the answer: a simple process that will give you the brighter, whiter smile all of us are looking for—and, coming in under seven minutes, it’s perfect for a lunch-time makeover.

“[The feedback] has been really positive. We’ve gotten a lot of good reviews, a variety of articles and, on Monday, we had the Style Network in here filming one of their How Do I Look? episodes,” explains Forouzanpour of the cutting-edge whitening system.

Much like traditional lasering, the Infinity Whitening process begins with a hydrogen peroxide gel being applied to the teeth. Afterwards, an LED light is passed over the gel, which helps break up into oxygen molecules that immediately go to work brightening your smile. While both traditional lasers and the Infinity system will get the job done, the main difference is the time spent in a dentist’s chair. Traditional lasers can take up to an hour, which can feel like an eternity when your mouth is pried open, while Infinity will illuminate your smile in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention, the teeth sensitivity factor. “[Laser] treatments generate a fair amount of heat, so afterwards your teeth can be fairly sensitive for about two or three days. The LED process does not generate heat, so very, very rarely you may get some sensitivity for the first hour,” explains Forouzanpour.

“It’s a fairly easy procedure and while you’re getting it done, you can even get Botox in your forehead for wrinkles,” adds the doctor, who conducts a full-range of services at his Beverly Hills office, including breast augmentation, liposuction, facelifts and even eyelash and eyebrow transplants.

Your pearly whites will remain brilliant for six to nine months, depending on your dietary habits. “If you drink a lot of coffee, sodas and wine, the whitening may not last that long.,” Forouzanpour saiys. “However, if you are someone who takes care of your teeth, then it should last.”
