1995: At the Christopher Street West parade, cyclists gathered support and visibility for AIDS Ride 3, a weeklong journey in June of 1996 from San Francisco to Los Angeles, to raise awareness and funds for research, prevention and care for those living with the disease. The annual AIDS LifeCycle grew from the event and continues today, promoting a healthy lifestyle and contributing to the fight.
