The Long Beach Pride celebration, honoring the rich cultural diversity flourishing in southern California, commemorates its Silver Anniversary this May 17 and 18. The 25th annual festival, held in beautiful Shoreline Village, has seven stages across the Long Beach shores. Main stage performers over the course of the event include The Bangles, Sheena Easton, and KC and the Sunshine Band, as well as MC's Carlease and Christine O'Leary. Every musical taste is catered to with country, dance, interfaith, and urban soul stages set up within the festival. Don't forget to show your love at the first-ever Pride Star contest, the winner of which will pocket $2500 and join the many dignitaries atop fabulous floats during Sunday's parade!
