In honor of one the Golden Girls Jan. 17th birthday we bring
you a Betty White themed Cheap Date.
12:32 p.m.
While the 6151 Richmond St. (in Miami) address for the Golden
Girls house never really existed you can visit the Columbia/Sunset
Gower Studios (1438 N. Gower St.) where the show was filmed
from 1985 to 1987 and tell strangers your favorite stories
about St. Olaf. Don’t forget to tell the one about
how you lost the Butter Queen pageant as a teenager due
to “churn tampering.”
Cost: Free, like Blanche Devereaux’s love

As an outspoken animal activist, Betty has been involved

clean, or even photograph the animals for adoption at one
of their many locations by visiting www.spcala.com.
Cost: Free, and you’ll be paid in puppy licks
