Rebel Yell
I am in Dallas, Texas and I picked up [Nov. 7, 2007 issue]
of Frontiers at the Dallas Voice office, and I was extraordinarily
impressed by the particular content. I really loved the “Edging
Out” article, “Produce Your Life,” the
Conscious Living section, and the coverage on sustainability.
This particular issue really appealed to a guy like me. Having
said that, hopefully it is the kind of reporting that we
can strive for and add a level of education to our community.
It was truly a trifecta of information, times to come, and
direction for the LGBT community.

Taking Heart
I just wanted to write to tell you how much I’ve appreciated
[the “Edging Out” column] lately. I’m often
disheartened by gay men's connection to anything other than
keeping themselves running, hearing themselves speak, or
throwing money at "good causes." Your articles
speak to the spiritual side of our community without getting
preachy or slutty or abstract, and speak much more closely
to who I am as a gay man.

Unwrapped Gifts
The guy Brandon [Ruckdashel] on your [Dec. 18, 2007 issue]
cover is gorgeous. He's like a sexy little street urchin
delivering gifts to his loved ones. The whole cover is beautiful,
in fact. I love that you created a chilly scene of winter
without the clichés of snow and tinsel.
