  Letter from the Editor

Rainbow High

What a year this has been and how quickly it has gone by. I honestly cannot believe we are publishing our final issue of 2007. It seems like just a few weeks ago that the publishers of IN Los Angeles magazine purchased Frontiers and asked me to take the helm as editor-in-chief. It was a daunting proposition at first as I realized Frontiers is a Southern Californian institution, having served its LGBT community for more than two decades. Fortunately, I now have a very solid editorial staff and a talented, informed group of contributing writers to help guide the magazine through its third decade. The publishers and I speak with our readers and community leaders at every opportunity and welcome all ideas for improvement. We are thrilled that many people think Frontiers is now stronger than it’s ever been. The changes we have implemented during the past few months have been very well received. It’s particularly gratifying to read the unprecedented positive response our new Conscious Living section has generated. It makes all the hard work and long hours worthwhile and ends this sometimes tumultuous, always exciting year on a very high note.

I know I speak on behalf of the entire staff of this magazine in thanking you for your support during the past year and wishing you happiness, success, and good health in 2008.

As always, I welcome your feedback. Write in (to letters@frontierspublishing.com) to let us know what you think.

Yours,
Jeremy Kinser
Editor in Chief
